Match-Up: BP-GRC vs. Gallo's Tap Room (Team Hell)
    Title: Take on Team Hell
Subject: Two weeks of rain delays, rain in the distance, and facing a team that has bested the BP-GRC in 4 of the past 5 meetings. . .can our beloved BP-GRC overcome these obstacles and remain undefeated?

    Body:
Some perfomances are just too inspiring for mere words. The BP-GRC fought in an epic fashion as explained in poetic verse below, "The Cowboys of the Goat Rodea take on Team Hell". .. did they have what it takes? Please read on. . . .

With the sound of thunder in the distance and rain in sight,

The BP - Goat Rodeo Cowboys stepped up for the fight.

The full team in uniform was 14 members strong

Team Hell came to win, we went to prove them wrong.

    (Refrain)

We are the Cowboys of the Goat Rod-e-o

We bat with courage and with precision we throw

We fight to the finish and round every base

In the quest for 'Champs of Champs', Graceland 1st place

First up to bat, was Tranq at the plate,

Still batting 1000, he started us off great,

Then Grinder, Denglish and Cubby Bear followed true,

Momentum turned our way, now would the rain hold off too?

At the bottom of the first, they pulled out their big gun,

Thanks to our strong defense, left the inning 3 to 1.

    (Refrain)

After two innings, we had to turn things around,

So we turned to the air instead of hitting the ball on the ground.

A massive double from Cubby Bear and another by Wronger

Put us up 5-2, two more runs stronger.

Don't forget the defense, they fought through and through.

The combo of Slavenator and Denglish, proved they can quickly "turn two".

Solid catches by Grinder; diving attempts by Tranq,

Hope we're not getting over confident, we figured this one in the bank.

    (Refrain)

We started to flex our muscle, to put an early end to the game.

We had their pitching staff flustered and their outfield filled with errors and shame

A double by Hussle and a hit by Mc D,

We never thought that taking on Hell could happen so easily.

But then in the 7th, we closed every bet

With a Denglish home run; the ball hasn't landed yet.

He ran the bases quickly. He ran around them with grace,

But you can tell that we're no longer 25, from the look of exhaustion on his face.

    (Refrain)

With the final out called, the sky opened up wide.

Team Hell ran away looking for somewhere to hide.

We won 14 to 2. Finding a way to rise above,

"It's a lovely day for a Guinness", so we headed out to Byrne's Pub

    Conclusion:

As BP-GRC continued their undefeated ways, two players rose above all others and should be considered key contributors to the team's success. The first athlete showcased her skills as a four year veteran and has proven that defense wins championships (as long as you can score more than your opponent). Keep up the solid defense in right-center Karla "Grinder" Baumer. The second athlete has returned from her one year hiatus of extensive training and coaching in Europe to prove that the key to a winning season is a strong and consistent offense. Keep up the strong and clutch hits, Katie "Wronger" Chain. Congrats to both athletes.
