Game Summary :
Strolling out to Tuttle Park field 5 last night, the Byrne's Pub Goat Rodeo Cowboy's (BPGRC) felt confident. They had a certain swagger about them. After their Game 2 domination they were pumped up to demonstrate their softball prowess yet again. And as their opponent approached in the far far distance, the BPGRC's grimaced and put on their game faces. It wasn't until the members of Varsity Club KB got closer that the BPGRC's really got a good look at their opponents, their HUGE muscle bound opponents. After sizing up the VCKB team, it was apparent that these 10 people were raised for only one thing, slow pitch softball.

As the BPGRC's took the field they hoped for the best, but the softball freaks that were Varsity Club KB were just too much to handle. Of course it didn't help that the BPGRC's forgot to bring their bats to the game. Luckily the umpire let them play without them, and of course VCKB didn't complain. So inning after inning VCKB strung together hit after hit while the BPGRC's tried to find anything that might resemble a bat. Twigs were used, empty beer cans taped together were tried, but in the end most people just used their hands to swat at strikes and mostly they hoped they'd get a walk. The result was devastating offensively for the BPGRC's and this disadvantage is reflected in the final score of the games.

Despite the horrible offense, there were two players who really stood out defensively. The BPGRC coaching staff would like to congratulate McDizzy & Pinto Pangra for their amazing effort in both games.

It was a sad day for the Byrne's Pub Goat Rodeo Cowboy’s; they just couldn't win despite their best efforts. But Flo can still win!! Vote now and help a Byrnes bartender take down the competition! Vote for Flo!
